Michelle M. Jones practiced law in Dallas for ten years, and in 1999, relocated her practice to Longview, Texas.  She has represented employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters since 1989, and has also represented employees in such matters.  Ms. Jones focuses her practice on employment litigation in state and federal courts, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, wage and hour, and non-competition claims under state and federal statutes and common law tort claims such as defamation, public policy torts, invasion of privacy, assault and battery, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.  In addition to trial work, she has handled labor arbitrations, union election matters, and administrative hearings.  Ms. Jones also counsels and trains employers regarding compliance with federal, state and local labor and employment laws, and conducts investigations on behalf of employers.

Ms. Jones has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995.  She is admitted to practice before all of the United States District Courts in Texas, the Northern District of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  She received her law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1989, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Labor and Litigation Sections), the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Gregg County Bar Association, and the American Bar Associations (Labor and Litigation Sections).

Ms. Jones has served as President of the Junior League of Longview, a member of the Board of Directors for School for Little Children, and various offices in the Parent Teacher Associations at Pine Tree schools.   She is married to Chris Jones, and they have three children. The family attends First Methodist Church of Longview.
