East Texas Attorneys Chris Jones is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Michelle Jones is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law .
We provide free initial consultations for potential clients. Potential clients are those in need of legal representation within our areas of expertise and who we have determined we may help, and with whom we have no conflicts of interest.
For plaintiff personal injury cases, we work on a contingency fee basis. This means that we will receive as our fee a certain percentage of the money you receive if you win the case or if you settle the matter. This fee may be different for different types of cases, depending on the complexity of the case, the risk involved with the case and the anticipated cost of preparing the case for trial. The contingency fee is in addition to expenses, which will be advanced, but must be repaid in the event of a recovery. The percentage is computed before expenses are deducted from the recovery. Court costs incurred on your behalf will be considered expenses. You may be obligated to pay all or any portion of the opposing party’s court costs in the event of an adverse verdict at trial.
For employment matters, we may work on an hourly fee, fixed fee or contingency fee, depending on the matter and what works best for our client.
Whether you have a Personal Injury matter or a Labor and Employment matter, please give us a call.
The initial call costs you nothing and we will let you know if we are able to help you.
