            Mr. Jones is a trial lawyer specializing in civil litigation with an emphasis on products liability and serious injury litigation. Mr. Jones also has significant experience in employment and ERISA litigation.  Mr. Jones has an AV rating and is registered in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law where he was Assistant Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review.  He is the author of Comment, Texas Municipal Liability: An Examination of the Federal and State Causes of Action, 40 Bay. Law Rev 595 (1988).  Mr. Jones also received a B.B.A. from Baylor University.  Mr. Jones is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. 

            Prior to moving to his hometown of Longview, where he now practices with his wife, Michelle, he practiced law in Dallas with Misko, Howie & Sweeney; Howie & Sweeney; and Worsham, Forsythe, Sampels & Wooldridge. 

            Mr. Jones is a member and served as President of the East Texas Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Jones is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Gregg County Bar Association.  He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.  He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

            Mr. Jones is a licensed private pilot and certified scuba diver.

            Mr. Jones is active in the community and was named Kiwanian of the Year in Dallas and Ducks Unlimited’s Man of the Year in Gregg County.
