After graduating from Baylor Law School in 1989, where he was Assistant Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review, Chris Jones began his legal career in Dallas with the firm of Worsham, Forsythe, Sampels & Wooldridge defending the Texas Utilities Companies, KCS Railroad and other large corporations. The training and experience Chris obtained as a personal injury lawyer defending these corporate giants and learning from a blue ribbon defense firm has proven to be invaluable in representing individuals and families against in insurance companies and negligent corporations.
One of the best Plaintiff’s personal injury lawyers in the country convinced Chris to leave the defense side of the bar and represent people who were catastrophically injured and those killed by negligence and wrongdoing of others. In 1992, he joined John Howie and the Dallas firm of Misko, Howie & Sweeney as a personal injury attorney . While there, Chris worked with John on aviation cases involving airplane and helicopter crashes, 18 wheeler trucking accidents, car wrecks, electrocutions and other catastrophic injury and death cases.
It was in Dallas that Chris Jones developed a products liability practice and handled a number of motor vehicle crashworthiness against the major manufacturers. Crashworthiness cases involve the failure of the vehicle to protect its occupants in a crash; such as seat belt failures, roof crush, airbag failures, doors failing to stay closed, window glass failures, seat back failures and vehicles catching fire and burning its occupants. Chris Jones is also a Private Pilot and enjoys not only aviation law, but also enjoys flying and spending time at the local airport.
In 2018, Chris bought two beehives and found a new passion as a beekeeper. Those first two beehives have now grown into an apiary and In 2019 the Bees’ honey won 3rd Place at the State Fair of Texas!

Community service is important to Chris. He was named Kiwanian of the Year in Dallas and Ducks Unlimited Man of the Year in Gregg County.
